You are able to build your Cookie Kingdom by generating buildings and other structures to support your kingdom. There are also RPG mechanics where you battle other teams and level up your characters.

Main Features

Cookie Run: Kingdom has two main mechanics that you can enjoy. The first is the world building mechanic. This allows you to create your very own Cookie Kingdom. You will be able to select different structures, and each has its own benefits. For example, some will create resources while others may raise your attack or defense. You will need resources to build structures. Each structure also requires real-world time to pass before it is built.

There are also RPG mechanics. You will be able to battle both computer-controlled and human-controlled teams with your own characters. There are many characters and each have different designs and skills. Some are better at magical skills while others have strong attacks. You must build a balanced team to ensure that you can destroy as many other teams as possible. Your characters will also level up as you defeat more enemies.

Story Mode

Many people will start off in Story Mode. This is the main quest of the game and it takes you through the beginning of your humble kingdom until it is large and thriving. You play as GingerBrave, a sentient gingerbread man who wants to be king. You will control him and four other characters as you battle through various computer-controlled teams.

This is essential the single-player mode. You will focus on fighting the computer while also building your kingdom. There are no human-controlled teams here, so the difficulty is predictable. While the combat is fun, some people do find it repetitive after a while.

Battle Other Players

There is a PVP mode that allows you to battle other players. The combat tends to be more varied here because you are battling other people. You will find yourself using different skills and maneuvers to ensure that you win. This is a good mode to transition to once you defeat Story Mode. The game tries to match you against similar players to ensure that one player isn't significantly more skilled than the other.
